Dungeons and Dragons: Arena of War is an action-based role-playing game in which you and your friends can form groups of adventures over the Internet. You and your group will dive into the adventure to finish off the forces of evil while collecting items and leveling-up your characters along the way.
You'll design your characters based on various classes and races before starting the game. You can choose between a human priest, a dwarven warrior, an elven explorer, and a tiefling rogue. As you play through the game, you'll be able to personalize your characters with all kinds of abilities, powers, and equipment.
The combat system in Dungeons and Dragons: Arena of War is pretty peculiar - the thing it's most similar to is playing bottle caps. Yes, you read that right. You basically move your characters around the board by propelling them like in a game of bottle caps, and when they hit an enemy, they will do damage.
You will use this interesting system to make your way through tons of dungeons filled with treasure. If you're good, you'll be able to fight against the archenemy of the month, as each month features a different final boss.
Dungeons and Dragons: Arena of War is a fun game that does a good job mixing action and role-playing. Best of all, it's a totally free way to play in the famous campaign environment of the Forgotten Realms.
